Scottish folds are not the breed to price shop for. Tied to the fold gene are cartilage problems even if cats are bred fold to straight. To avoid this, breeders MUST only buy breeding cats from the top breeders in the world. Cats that show will be disqualified for arthritis and not be able to make Quadruple Grand Champion or Supreme Grand Champion. Backyard breeders do not show because of this. Our cats are QGC and SGC, regional winners and international breed winners. Cats show scores are on the TICA website for public viewing and I provide links to my cats scores below. A breeder should be able to provide you with championship title confirmations; registration papers are NOT proof of show quality (which in folds means healthy).
