If you are making any accreditation, licensing, or education claim, who is accrediting this and what were the requirements?

If someone is claiming to have any professional credentials, ask who and where these credentials were licensed by. What college and where can I view the college’s website and curriculum? How long did the degree take and what classes were taken? Was it a for profit college (often has just multiple answer tests) and what credentials did the teachers have (was it taught by a qualified professional)?

I do pay to go to several breeder seminars a year at cat shows, but I do NOT claim to be a scientist of cats. In the US, the only people that usually do are veterinarians and geneticist who have degrees in that field and many of TICA judges are such people who are at the forefront of genetic and disease research.

As a side note my husband majored in biology and I worked at a vet hospital and did 2 years of a biochemistry major when I wanted to be a vet, but switched to history and working at a library when I had my daughter to have more family time. None of that really applies to cat breeding except my love of cats shaping my early career goals and my ability to research issues.
