Have your cats ever been disqualified at a cat show for arthritis?
Reputable breeders will not fear this question, feel free to ask it of me. It is a fair question of all breeds and breeders and what was done about the DQ is more important than if a cat was ever DQed. Backyard breeders are only concerned about cost, so if they get a DQ or wipe, they view showing as wasted money and a loss of income and do not show again. The only reason they went in the first place was their dreams of charging show prices for their kittens.

Here's the TICA breed standard which calls for DQs for a stiff tail, the first sign of arthritis.
