How have you made your home cat friendly?
We have a 2800 sq foot house for our cats. We use only bedrooms to separate breeding cats and all kittens are in human inhabited space for maximum socialization. We have cat trees galore, several being drift wood cat trees for queen safety. Every cat tree must be able to support a pregnant queen jumping around without falling or tipping her unsafely. When we cat tree shop we shake the heck of a tree to make sure it meets that test. We special order heavy drift wood cat trees for them.
We have several auto litter boxes but also keep regular litter boxes for cats that don’t like the different auto ones we have for them. When we do ANYTHING to our house we take the cats into consideration usually first, then us. We have no cats locked in bathrooms, garages, or outside cages.
We get state of the art cat toys often only sold at cat shows. These toys mimic real mice and bird movement that drives cats nuts and is sometime the only thing that can get a cat to play in a noisy show hall with distractions everywhere.
